Castro Valley Huddle works together to promote equality, women’s rights, voter participation, and environmental protections through political activism and community service.
Women's March 2020 Oakland, CA
We see a future for our young people where there is affordable healthcare for everyone, clean air & water worldwide, respectful governing officials with an active electorate who work together to maintain happy and humane communities throughout our country.
Our group evolved from the Women's March on January 21, 2017, when people all over the nation formed groups to resist the new administration. The Castro Valley Huddle held its first meeting one month after the 2017 inauguration and our grassroots organization has been growing ever since.
We gather on the second Thursday of each month to educate ourselves about current policies and to plan practical actions to promote positive governmental stewardship of our community, our nation, and our planet.
